Hi

Thanks

The Friends of Morses Pond will be holding its annual picnic on July 27, 2008 at the Morses Pond beach at 3:00pm. We'll be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. We'll try to meet at the far picnic area. Use of the picnic areas is on a first come first serve basis. Thus, we may be sharing with others.

Please bring side dishes and/or deserts along with drinks (no alcohol). You can also bring food to grill. We'll have the charcoal grills going.

You may wish to bring a chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, etc. Those that have boats may wish to bring them for an evening canoe/sail/row after the event or use them for transportation to the event.

This will be a great time for pond friends to socialize and enjoy the fruits of our efforts in helping improve Morses Pond. Bring the whole family, everyone is welcome. We also welcome new FOMP members.

There will be no entrance fee for this event, providing you have RSVP'd by Wed July 23. We need to give the Recreation Department a list of names for those that don't have beach tags. The reason the Recreation Department is waving the fee is to help recognize those who've donated their time to help improve the Pond and to give us a good meeting spot to help build our group. (Note, the beach opens on June 11).

Please RSVP to ciolfi at mathworks.com<mailto:ciolfi at mathworks.com> (or 508-740-9236 if you don't have e-mail) by July 23 with the names of the people who will be attending. Also indicate if you already have beach tags.
