Subject: [Fomp] Morses Pond Beautification day

Dear Friends of Morses Pond,

 

Once again this year the Girl Scouts will help expand the areas clear of
invasive plants and maintain those sections already cleared in past years
around Morses Pond.

This will take place on April 26th from 10AM to 3 PM. 

 

The DPW will participate and help out. Trees will be planted at 11 AM and at
that time; a ceremony will take place in appreciation for those that help
beautify the area.

 

Attached is the pamphlet the girl scouts have produced and are publicizing.

Twelfth annual trail day

Join troop 3200 for trail day

Saturday April 26th 2008

At Morses Pond from 10am-3pm



We will be working with NRC and DPW and the boy scouts to get rid of the
bittersweet plants from around Morse pond, and cleaning up around the beach!

If you have clippers or gardening gloves we are encouraging you to bring
them with you. Also you should wear long pants.

All girls participating will earn a trail day patch and of course a good
time!!

Help the environment and have fun with your friends!!!!

Also: a tree planting ceremony to honor all those that help beautify the
area
