Tuesday March 7, 2006. Wellesley Election - Vote to help the pond by voting for Stanley Hodges and Frank Hays.

I'm writing to let you know that at the Wellesley election, tomorrow Tuesday March 7, you can help support Morses Pond by voting for

• Hays, Frank R., 49 Shore Road
• Hodges Stanley G., 10 Pickerel Terrace

This year is an extremely important one for the Pond and your vote is needed. Frank Hays and Stanley Hodges are very active in Friends of Morses Pond and have both served as Chairmen in the past. They have also served as Town Meeting Members and have and will continue to give the Pond a voice in the Town.

There are seventeen candidates for fifteen positions, so not all candidates will be elected. It's most effective to vote only for candidates that you know share your views and values. It is okay to vote for fewer than fifteen people if you aren't sure if other candidates share your views and values. Voting for fewer than the maximum fifteen candidates increases the impact of those few votes. Randomly selecting candidates to simply fill out your ballot has the effect of canceling out your vote.
